More than just a music festival, Glastonbury is deeply rooted in the culture, mysticism and historical lore of Somerset.
In British Arthurian legend, **Avalon** is a mystical fairyland where King Arthur was sent to heal from his wounds, and Glastonbury is believed to be the real-world.
The theme of the festival in 2040 is “Modern Pilgrimage”. Like the followers of ancient religions, fans come together from different places to make this modern pilgrimage. The story of King Arthur will be recreated through drone performances in conjunction with this sacred site. The drones will also be part of the stage show, surrounding the audience and immersing them in the music.
